लोकसभा निवडणुकीत एनडीएने 290 पेक्षा जास्त जागांवर विजय मिळवला. त्यामुळे राष्ट्रपतींनी त्यांना सरकार स्थापनेसाठी निमंत्रित केले आहे. एनडीएच्या सर्व घटक पक्षांनी संसदीय नेता म्हणून पुन्हा एकदा नरेंद्र मोदी यांची निवड केल्याने ते तिसऱ्यांना भारताचे पंतप्रधान होतील. त्यांना आणखी एक संधी मिळणार असल्याने पीटरसन याने ट्विट करत त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले. विशेष म्हणजे त्याने हे ट्विट हिंदीमध्ये केले.
पीटरसनने लिहिले,
