ह्यूस्टन येथे झालेल्या दुसऱ्या सामन्यात यजमान युएसए संघाने प्रथम फलंदाजी करताना 6 बाद 144 धावसंख्या उभारली होती. यामध्ये कर्णधार मोनांक पटेल याचे 42 व ऍरॉन जोन्सचे 38 धावांचे योगदान होते. बांगलादेशसाठी शोरीफुल, मुस्तफिझूर व रिशाद यांनी प्रत्येकी दोन बळी मिळवले.
विजयासाठी मिळालेल्या 145 धावांचा पाठलाग करताना बांगलादेशसाठी कर्णधार शांतो (36 धावा), तौहिद हृदय (20 धावा) व शाकिब अल हसन (30 धावा) यांनी महत्त्वाचे योगदान दिले. मात्र, अखेरचे पाच फलंदाज केवळ 14 धावांमध्ये तंबूत परतल्याने बांगलादेशला सहा धावांनी पराभव पत्करावा लागला. यूएसएसाठी अली खान याने तीन, सौरभ नेत्रावळकर व शॅडली यांनी प्रत्येकी दोन बळी मिळवले. खान याला त्याच्या उत्कृष्ट गोलंदाजीसाठी सामनावीर पुरस्कार देण्यात आला.
मालिकेतील पहिल्या सामन्यात देखील यजमान युएसएने बांगलादेशला पाच गडी राखून पराभूत केले होते. मालिकेतील अखेरचा सामना 25 मे रोजी खेळला जाईल.
