याच गटातील अन्य एका सामन्यात श्रीलंकेने नेदरलँड्सवर दणदणीत विजय मिळवला. सर्वच फलंदाजांनी उपयुक्त एकदाच श्रीलंकेला 201 पर्यंत मजल मारून दिली होती. या आव्हानासमोर नेदरलँड्स 118 धावांवर ढेर झाला. यासह श्रीलंकेने मोठा विजय साजरा करत स्पर्धेला विजयी निरोप दिला.
