बेंगलोर येथे तीन सामन्यांच्या या मालिकेतील पहिला सामना खेळला गेला. भारतीय कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौर हिने नाणेफेक जिंकून फलंदाजीचा निर्णय घेतला. या सामन्यात भारतासाठी आशा शोभना हिने वनडे पदार्पण केले. प्रथम फलंदाजीची संधी मिळाल्यानंतर शेफाली वर्मा केवळ 7 धावा करून माघारी परतली. डी हेमलता देखील 12 धावांचे योगदान देऊ शकली. चौथ्या क्रमांकावर कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौर 10 व जेमिमा रॉड्रिग्ज 17 धावा करून बाद झाल्या. तर, रिचा घोष केवळ 3 धावा करू शकली.
भारतीय संघ 5 बाद 99 अशा परिस्थितीत असताना स्मृती मंधानाने दिप्ती शर्माला सोबतीला घेतली. तिने यादरम्यान अर्धशतक पूर्ण केले. दोघींनी सहाव्या विकेटसाठी 81 धावा काढल्या. दीप्तीने 37 धावांचे योगदान दिले. त्यानंतर पुन्हा एकदा स्मृती व पूजा वस्त्रकर यांनी अर्धशतकी भागीदारी रचली. स्मृतीने यादरम्यान सहावे वनडे शतक पूर्ण केले. बाद होण्यापूर्वी तिने 127 चेंडूवर 117 धावा केल्या. यात 12 चौकार व 1 षटकार सामील होता. पूजा वस्त्रकरने अखेरपर्यंत नाबाद 31 धावा करत संघाला 265 अशी मजल मारून दिली. दक्षिण आफ्रिकेसाठी वेगवान गोलंदाज आयाबोंगा खाकाने सर्वाधिक 3 बळी मिळवले.
