इंग्लिश प्रीमियर लीग 2023-2024 हंगामाची रविवारी (19 मे) समाप्ती झाली. अत्यंत अटीतटीच्या राहिलेल्या या स्पर्धेत अखेरच्या दिवशी मँचेस्टर सिटी (Man City) संघाने वेस्ट हॅमवर 3-1 असा विजय मिळवत विजेतेपदावर नाव कोरले. हे त्यांचे सलग चौथे विजेतेपद ठरले. संघाचे मॅनेजर पेप गॉर्डीओला यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली संघाने ही चारही विजेतेपदे पटकावली आहेत.

हंगामाच्या अखेरच्या दिवशी मँचेस्टर सिटी आणि पार्सल हे दोन्ही संघ विजेतेपदाच्या शर्यतीत होते. आर्सेनलने एव्हर्टनवर 2-1 विजय मिळवला. मात्र, त्यानंतर मँचेस्टर सिटी पराभूत होण्याची प्रार्थना त्यांना करावी लागणार होती. परंतु, फिल फोडेन (Phil Foden) याच्या दोन गोलच्या जोरावर सिटीने वेस्ट हॅमला डोके वर काढू दिले नाही व विजय साकार केला. त्यांच्याकडे या सामन्याआधी असलेली एका गुणाची आघाडी निर्णायक ठरली. यामध्ये आर्सेनल कमनशीबी ठरल्याने त्यांना दुसऱ्या क्रमांकावर समाधान मानावे लागले.
