Ball Tampering Allegations On Team India: भारतीय क्रिकेट संघ टी20 विश्वचषक 2024 (T20 World Cup 2024) च्या उपांत्य फेरीत पोहोचला आहे. उपांत्य फेरीत भारताचा सामना इंग्लंडशी (IND vs ENG Semi Final) होईल. सामन्यापूर्वी झालेल्या पत्रकार परिषदेत भारतीय कर्णधार रोहित शर्मा (Rohit Sharma) हा पत्रकारांना सामोरा गेला. यावेळी त्याने पाकिस्तानचा माजी कर्णधार इंझमाम उल हक (Inzamam Ul Haq) याने केलेल्या आरोपांना उत्तर दिले.
पत्रकार परिषदेत रोहितला इंझमाम उल हक याने भारतीय खेळाडूंवर केलेल्या बॉल टॅम्परिंग आरोपाविषयी विचारण्यात आले. त्यावर उत्तर देताना तो म्हणाला,
“येथील वातावरण गरम आहे. तसेच या खेळपट्ट्या देखील कोरड्या आहेत. जर इथे चेंडू रिव्हर्स स्विंग होणार नाही तर इतर कुठे होणार? आपण काही इंग्लंड किंवा दक्षिण आफ्रिकेत खेळत नाही.”
इंझमाम याने एका वाहिनीवर समीक्षक म्हणून बोलताना म्हटले होते, “भारत बॉल टॅम्परिंग करून जिंकत आहे. कारण, अर्शदीप सिंग सारखा गोलंदाज देखील पंधराव्या षटकात चेंडू स्विंग करत आहे. 11-12 व्या षटकापासूनच काहीतरी होत असेल. पंचांनी या गोष्टीवर लक्ष द्यावे. काही संघासाठी पंच डोळे बंद ठेवतात. भारत त्यापैकी एक आहे.”
भारताच्या सर्वच वेगवान गोलंदाजांनी या स्पर्धेत आतापर्यंत शानदार कामगिरी केली आहे. साखळी फेरीत अजिंक्य राहिल्यानंतर, रोहित शर्माच्या नेतृत्वातील संघाने सुपर 8 मधील आपले तीनही सामने जिंकत उपांत्य फेरीत जागा बनवली. उपांत्य फेरीत भारताचा सामना 27 जून रोजी इंग्लंडविरुद्ध होईल. मागील विश्वचषकाच्या उपांत्य सामन्यात इंग्लंडने भारताला पराभूत केले होते.
