MPL 2024|महाराष्ट्र क्रिकेट असोसिएशन (MCA) आयोजित महाराष्ट्र प्रीमियर लीग (MPL 2024) स्पर्धेचा दुसरा हंगाम रविवारी (2 जून) सुरू झाला. उद्घाटनाच्या सामन्यात पहिल्या हंगामातील विजेते रत्नागिरी जेट्स व उपविजेते पीबीजी कोल्हापूर टस्कर्स (RJvPBGKT) आमनेसामने आले. या पहिल्या सामन्यात रत्नागिरीने कोल्हापूरवरील आपले वर्चस्व कायम राखत 54 धावांनी विजय साकारला. या विजयात त्यांचा कर्णधार अझीम काझी (Azim Kazi) व अनुभवी फिरकीपटू सत्यजित बच्छाव (Satyajeet Bachhav) यांचा सिंहाचा वाटा राहिला.

कोल्हापूरच्या संघाला जिंकायला १७३ धावांची आवश्यकता असताना, रत्नागिरी जेट्स संघाने; १८.४ षटकांमध्ये, १० विकेट्स घेत कोल्हापूरला ११८ धावांवर रोखलं आणि आजचा सामना दिमाखात जिंकला!
