बेंगलोर येथे झालेल्या या सामन्यात दक्षिण आफ्रिकेच्या कर्णधाराने नाणेफेक जिंकून प्रथम गोलंदाजीचा निर्णय घेतला. शेफाली वर्मा व स्मृती मंधाना यांनी 38 धावांची सलामी दिली. यानंतर हेमलता हीने 24 धावांचे योगदान दिले. यादरम्यान स्मृतीने अर्धशतक पूर्ण केले.
भारताने 100 धावांमध्ये दोन बळी मिळवल्यानंतर कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौर व उपकर्णधार स्मृती मंधाना यांनी डावाची जबाबदारी आपल्या खांद्यावर घेतली. दोघींनी विरोधी गोलंदाजांचा खरपूस समाचार घेतला. स्मृती हिने सलग दुसऱ्या सामन्यात शतक पूर्ण केले. हे तीच्या कारकिर्दीतील सातवे शतक ठरले. बाद होण्यापूर्वी तिने 120 चेंडूवर 18 चौकार व 2 षटकारांच्या मदतीने 136 धावा केल्या.
स्मृती बाद झाल्यानंतर हरमनप्रीतने अखेरपर्यंत नाबाद राहत 88 चेंडूवर 9 चौकार व 3 षटकारांच्या मदतीने 103 धावा केल्या. रिचा घोष हिने 13 चेंडूवर नाबाद 25 धावा केल्या. दक्षिण आफ्रिकेसाठी मलाबा हिने 2 बळी मिळवले.
