T20 World Cup 2024: टी20 विश्वचषक 2024 अंतिम सामन्यात भारत आणि दक्षिण आफ्रिका (IND vs SA) समोरासमोर आले. नाणेफेक जिंकून प्रथम फलंदाजी स्वीकारल्यावर भारतीय संघाने शानदार खेळ दाखवला. विराट कोहली याने केलेल्या लाजवाब अर्धशतक व अष्टपैलू अक्षर पटेल आणि शिवम दुबे यांनी केलेल्या निर्णायक धावांमुळे भारताने 176 धावा उभारल्या.
बार्बाडोस येथे झालेल्या या सामन्यात भारताने नाणेफेक जिंकून प्रथम फलंदाजीचा निर्णय घेतला. विराट कोहली याने पहिल्या षटकात तीन चौकार मारत संघाला चांगली सुरुवात करून दिली. मात्र, दुसऱ्या षटकात केशव महाराज याने कर्णधार रोहित शर्मा व रिषभ पंत यांना बाद केले. त्यानंतर पाचव्या षटकात रबाडाने सूर्यकुमार यादव याला आठ धावांवर तंबूत पाठवले.
भारतीय संघ तीन बाद 34 अशा स्थितीत असताना विराट कोहली व अक्षर पटेल यांनी 72 धावांची भागीदारी केली. अक्षरने यामध्ये महत्त्वाची जबाबदारी पार पाडत 47 धावांची आक्रमक खेळी केली. तो बाद झाल्यानंतर शिवम दुबे याने देखील मोठे फटके मारले. विराटने बाद होण्यापूर्वी 59 चेंडूंमध्ये 76 धावांची खेळी केली. तर दुबेने 27 धावांचे योगदान दिले. दक्षिण आफ्रिकेसाठी केशव महाराज व एन्रिक नॉर्किए यांनी प्रत्येकी दोन गडी बाद केले.
