IND vs AUS, T20 World Cup Super 8 :- वेस्ट इंडिजच्या डॅरेन सॅमी क्रिकेट स्टेडियमवर सोमवारी (24 जून) टी20 विश्वचषक 2024 चा सुपर 8 सामना सुरू आहे. या सामन्यात भारताचा कर्णधार रोहित शर्माचा (Rohit Sharma) रौद्रावतार पाहायला मिळाला. रोहितने आपला जुना फॉर्म दाखवत ऑस्ट्रेलियन फलंदाजांना गुडघे टेकायला भाग पाडले आणि 92 धावांचा डोंगर रचला. शेवटच्या षटकांत फिनिशिंगची जबाबदारी हार्दिक पांड्याने (Hardik Pandya) चोख बजावली. परिणामी ऑस्ट्रेलियाला विजयासाठी 206 धावांचे आव्हान मिळाले आहे.
या सामन्यात नाणेफेक जिंकून ऑस्ट्रेलियाने भारताला फलंदाजीसाठी आमंत्रित केले. प्रथम फलंदाजी करताना भारताला विराट कोहलीच्या रुपात मोठा धक्का बसला. विराट शून्य धावेवर बाद झाला. मात्र हिटमॅनने फलंदाजीची सर्व सुत्रे आपल्या हाती घेतली आणि मैदानाच्या प्रत्येक कोपऱ्यात चेंडू पाठवला. रोहितने अवघ्या 41 चेंडूत 92 धावांची तुफानी खेळी केली. या खेळीदरम्यान त्याने 8 खणखणीत षटकार आणि 7 चौकार मारले. रोहितव्यतिरिक्त शिवम दुबेने 28 धावा आणि हार्दिक पांड्याने नाबाद 27 धावा केल्या.
या डावात ऑस्ट्रेलियाकडून मिचेल स्टार्क आणि मार्कस स्टॉयनिसने प्रत्येकी 2 विकेट्स काढल्या. तर जोश हेझलवुडलाही एक विकेट मिळाली.
