‘पाकिस्तान संघात एकता नाही. ते त्याला संघ म्हणतात, पण तो संघ नाही. संघात मोठ्या प्रमाणात दुफळी असून गटबाजी आहे. खेळाडू एकमेकांना साथ देत नाहीत. प्रत्येकजण वेगवेगळा असल्यासारखा वागतो. मी अनेक संघांसोबत काम केले आहे, पण अशी परिस्थिती कधीच पाहिलेली नाही,’ अशा तीव्र शब्दांत गॅरी कर्स्टनने टीका केल्याचे वृत्त आहे.
कर्स्टन यांच्या या वक्तव्यावर हरभजन सिंग ट्विट करत म्हणाला की, ‘गॅरी तिथे वेळ वाया घालवू नको, भारताला प्रशिक्षण देण्यासाठी ये… गॅरी कर्स्टन एक हिरा आहे. 2011 च्या आपल्या संघातील ते एक सर्वोत्तम प्रशिक्षक, मार्गदर्शक, मित्र आहेत. आपला 2011चा विश्वचषक विजेता प्रशिक्षक… खास व्यक्ती गॅरी…,’ असं हरभजन सिंग ट्विटमध्ये म्हणाला आहे.
