अखेर जोशुआ लिटल व डेलानी यांनी काही मोठे फटके खेळत संघाला पुढे नेण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. लिटल याने 13 चेंडूवर 14 धावा केल्या. डेलानी याने अर्शदीपवर हल्ला चढवत 14 चेंडूवर 26 धावा केल्या. यात दोन चौकार व दोन षटकारांचा समावेश होता. मात्र, 16 व्या षटकातील अखेरच्या चेंडूवर फ्री हिट असताना तो धावबाद झाला. भारतासाठी हार्दिक पंड्या याने सर्वाधिक तीन बळी टिपले. तर, अर्शदीप व बुमराहने दोन गडी बाद केले. फिरकीपटू अक्षर पटेल याला एक गडी बाद करण्यात यश आले.
